Gallery Visit No.1

The visit of "TESSELLATED" in Ringel Gallery.

On January 11th, 2018, I visited the "TESSELLATED" show in Ringel Gallery and I was completely shocked by those artifacts created by inspiration of geometry and randomness. Those patterns which composed of sort of irregular but also sequential blocks are really inspiring. From the first photo I took. The wooden blocks composed a hexagon also can be interpreted as ten flowers decorated with some smaller ones.

The second photo showed an amazing contrast between the bright colors that encouraged my imagination of the infinite possibility of next combination. Though composed of different color blocks, the boundaries among them are very clear and straight. If you are close enough to those blocks, you could be surprised by those uneven surfaces actually built a sense of unity when standing far away.

The last photo I took is about a map with lots of holes on it. It is not even. Thus, It gave a sense of a real geography map where the mountain ridges are higher and plains are lower. Some parts of it are not regular. The patterns are changing all the time through out the whole art work. It was really an amused experience when I meandering among those art works!
